Who we are
This site, lazyscript.com, is run by Ionut-Alexandru Popescu, trading as LazyScript Operations, in Bucharest, Romania, who is the controller of the personal data described here. For any question or request about it, write to contact@lazyscript.com.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider (Google Cloud) logs each request: your IP address, the page, the time, and your browser's user agent. We use them only to keep the site secure and working, and they're deleted after a limited period (legitimate interest, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Code you compile. The Z80 emulator's C tab sends the source you compile or format to our compiler, also on Google Cloud, which processes it and sends the result back. We don't store it; the request is logged like any other.
- Email. If you write to us, we use your address and message to reply, and keep them as long as the conversation needs.
There are no accounts, sign-ups, or forms on this site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages are visited and which links are clicked. It runs in Google Consent Mode: analytics cookies are set only if you agree to them (consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Until then, Google's tags send only limited signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed.
Advertising
The projects list and the project pages (games and tools) show ads from Google AdSense; no other page on the site does.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.

Your consent choices
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent on the projects pages by a consent message from Google, a certified consent management platform. Until you agree, Google shows only limited or non-personalized ads. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy settings link the message leaves on the page, or by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.
Storage on your device
The games and tools run entirely in your browser. They may keep settings, progress, or your code in your browser's storage, and cache their files so they load faster next time. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us; you can clear it in your browser's site settings.
Sharing and transfers
We don't sell your data. Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google, which may transfer it outside the European Economic Area, including to the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to contact@lazyscript.com and we'll answer within a month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
